About Us

In the early 1960s, two Delawareans involved in the sport of purebred dogs, Bev Thawley and Jack Dugan, successfully established the Mispillion Kennel Club, Inc., a non-profit volunteer organization affiliated with the American Kennel Club. Mispillion Kennel Club, Inc. has continued to exist to promote dog sports, protect the health and well-being of all dogs, and assist in the development of rewarding bonds between dogs and their human partners. These goals are attained by the many activities of the club - all-breed dog shows, performance events, training classes, and public outreach. Meetings are held in alternate months and are open to the public to encourage membership in the club and participation in its activities.
